Robert Half is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with clients in a consulting capacity. The Accounting Consultant will be responsible for providing accounting support and expertise to clients in various industries, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, month-end close processes, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations

• Provide accounting expertise and advice to clients on a range of accounting matters, including revenue recognition, expense recognition, and inventory valuation

• Perform regular reviews of client accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions

• Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards

• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

• Assist with audit and tax preparation processes as needed

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 2+ years of experience in accounting

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and/or SAP, is preferred or at least 2 ERP systems.
